"My husband Hugh and I have lived in Wrestlingworth since 1971. Our two daughters were brought up in the village, they are both married and we have two grandchildren. I visited the Garden for the first time in the summer of 2006 and was struck by all the hard work and love that is being put into it. I took on the role of committee secretary in 2007. I am also trying to use my 20 years experience in Bedfordshire’s voluntary sector to benefit the future development of DCGG. Gardening is my passion and when I’m not cultivating my own plot I enjoy visiting National Trust gardens or putting on a stout pair of boots to do some serious walking."
