Dunton Community Garden Group (DCGG) is a registered charity formed in 2001. Our Community Garden at Great Close Field, Church Farm, Dunton is run as an organic demonstration garden and is open to casual visitors 365 days a year from dawn to dusk. Organised groups may visit by arrangement for a tour and delicious refreshments. We hold various events and workshops throughout the year. The Garden is maintained and developed by teams of volunteers including those with special needs (in particular, those recovering from mental ill health).

Accommodation Project: during 2009 we are installing a polytunnel, shipping containers for a tea shed, and meeting room, and a compost toilet. We have obtained planning permission and funding. This is great news and will be welcomed. Unfortunately, the work involved with this means that this year we have no plans for open days and other events. But if work goes according to plan – we may hold a celebration in the autumn, so watch this space to find out about our progress |
June 2009: Some Produce is available for sale at 8 Chapel Street. There are opportunities for more volunteers to get involved in a wide variety of tasks.
